Girton Operatic : Our favourite sites
Girton Operatic is based in the village of Girton near Cambridge. Girton is an active community with a primary school, two churches, three pubs and many clubs and societies. The village community website includes a map-useful if you're planning your first visit to Girton to see us!!
One of the other village societies is Girton Players - the village drama group. Several members of Girton Operatic are also active members of Girton Players.
Another of our favourite sites is the Gilbert and Sullivan Archive which has many exciting features such as the libretti of the operettas, biographical information, clipart (including Gilbert's own drawings) and midi files of some of Sullivan's music.
Girton Operatic is affiliated to The National Operatic and Dramatic Association.
